During my time at Big Fish Games, I created numerous marketing assets for a wide range of game titles. Some of the most important assets for games were those that appeared in the Appstore and Google Play Store. I designed a variety of app screens and icons for several games that were used for world wide launches, beta testing, holidays and game updates, and more. Here are just a few examples of app store marketing assets (app screens and icons) that I created.
Deep Sea Solitaire
The Deep Sea Solitaire app screens were complex, and used 3D elements from the game's Unity build, as well as illustrated embellishments and environments I created from scratch. I collaborated with the game team to represent the gameplay, while enhancing and re-designing elements to be more enticing with the goal of making screens that reflected the beautiful, living ocean world portrayed in the game.

Coin Heist
Coin Heist was a beta title in its beginning stages. Due to this, I had limited resources to use for these app screens, which gave me the opportunity to come up with creative solutions. I repainted some of the characters and game assets, and re-designed some UI elements to help communicate the unique selling points of the game and overall make it look more enticing and exciting.

Yummy Drop
For the Yummy Drop beta app screens, I used a combination of game assets and illustrated assets to create screens that reflected a fun and dynamic game with focus on food, recipes, and cooking tasks. Some elements had to be enhanced and embellished to communicate the unique selling points more clearly and effectively.

Knittens
For the Knittens app screens, I utilized some game assets (a lot of which had to be up-resed and painted over) and combined it with my own illustrated assets to create screens that were cute, fun and lighthearted, with a "grandma-chic" aesthetic. My challenge with these was to enhance and embellish the gameplay and find ways to communicate the mechanic with limited space and imagery.

Icons
In addition to app screens and other app store marketing assets, I had the opportunity to work on icons, important and high profile assets. Icons represent the game in the app store and must fit a lot of information into a small space. During my time at Big Fish Games, I worked on icons for a variety of games. These icons were used for beta launches, world wide launches, testing purposes, and holidays and game updates. Icon designs can range from featuring characters, game pieces, objects, to even environments or scenes. Below are just a few examples of icons I designed and illustrated.
